Christmas Preparation

The night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring except for a crab the size of a grapefruit that snuck into the house. He woke us up at 5 am while climbing between the wall the night stand.

We went to the park where the orchestra played for the yearly Christmas concert and picnics are displayed. And much to the wonderment of my eyes did appear Santa Clause being lead by one strong carabow ... not 8 tiny reindeer.

The stocking we hung on the concrete wall with care in fear that a typhoon would blow them from there. We decorated the tree with some ornaments and lights and Jill made the skirt in only 3 nights! Until we see snow or a temperature of 79, we will continue to go to the beach, snorkel and do just fine.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

The beach was wonderful on Sunday! We stayed out just long enough to be exhausted by the sun!

Slowly we are collecting things for the house. A favorite is an old spanish desk that I am sure came off an old pirate ship in about 1723.

Our couch is simple and is nicely placed near our big window to watch the ocean.

The warm rain comes and goes as it pleases. It will never turn to snow and it will always be warm. Watching the sun set from here is wonderful -rain or shine.

Mike's Birthday was the other day so we celebrated with a littel ice cream cake. Caleb helped him blow out the candle. We could only find the number "0" for a candle even though Mike is a little older.

Sullivan's World Travels

We loaded everything in the truck and moved it out so the house could be rented. Sad to say that I sold the truck. It was a bummer. Jill was lookin' good at 5 months pregnant.

The weekend before leaving the continental USA we had a wonderful surprise baby shower in Glennwood Springs with our families. It was an amazing Sunday afternoon where I had the opportunity to change a dolls diaper filled with peanut butter. Ymmm.

We left the Smith residence at 4am on October 3rd and today is November 6th. We have managed to do the following:

- We met the Bantzs in Hawaii and stayed three days. This is the family that we will be living with in Guam. We relaxed a lot because it is a little stressful to pack your house, rent it, sell both cars, and move to the other side of the world!

NOW WE ARE IN GUAM!!!

- We lived in a hotel in Guam for two weeks. It was a wonderful hotel; however, we did not get to fully enjoy the amenities due to trying to set up life on the island.

- Bought a car for Jill to drive. Sorry Icepick you would probably be disappointed, but we are in Guam and it can be slim pickin's. We have enjoyed it so far. The truck next to it is what I get to drive everyday. I do miss my Toyota. Let's have a moment of silence for the Toyota.

- Found a WONDERFUL three bedroom place on Agana Bay. We watch the tide come and go while the sun sets. Little hermit crabs and other crabs visit us each evening. You can listen to them click clack across the tile porch We are not so enthralled by the frogs as they are the size of a small cats.
- Jill has found a great part time job at S.O.A.R. This is a physical therapy clinic that serves the island and is only 1minute and 37 seconds from the house! My job is going well and filled with challenge dealing with other peoples flushed goodies. Check Back for more!
